Responsive art is the creative result of what God is revealing through his Spirit, during the act of worship or prayer. Responsive art can be a picture created in watercolor, pencil, crayons, or a sculpture of clay, or even a multimedia collage. The media used is as limitless as the creative imagination of God.
There is a difference between biblical art and responsive art. Biblical art, in a general sense, depicts stories and people from the Bible. These art pieces are beautiful and inspirational. They bring understanding, appreciation and remembrance of what God has done in the past in order to bring us closer to Him.
In contrast, responsive art is God communicating through His visual language of pictures. These pictures come through our mind's eye and touch our hearts. Through this art, our spirit is awakened to God's voice.
